The Timing God Never Clarified
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Thursday, 18 June 2026
Topic: The Things God Didn’t Explain (5)
Focus: The Timing God Never Clarified
🔥Theme:
Trusting God when He gives instructions without explanations.
📖 Key Verse:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5
Devotional:
If there is one thing most believers wish God would explain, it is timing. We can handle the assignment. We can handle the process. We can even handle the sacrifice. But we struggle with not knowing when. When will the prayer be answered? When will the door open? When will the healing come? When will the promise be fulfilled? Yet throughout Scripture, God often revealed what He would do without revealing when He would do it. He promised Abraham a son—but did not give him a date. He anointed David king—but did not tell him how many years would pass before the throne. He gave Joseph dreams—but did not explain the prison that would come first.
📖 Scripture Reading:
- Habakkuk 2:3 — The vision awaits an appointed time
- Ecclesiastes 3:11 — He makes everything beautiful in its time
- Psalm 31:15 — My times are in Your hands
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
God frequently reveals the promise while withholding the schedule. Why? Because if we knew the timing, we might trust the calendar more than we trust God. We would count days instead of cultivating faith. We would watch clocks instead of watching Him. The absence of timing is often God’s invitation into deeper dependence. Faith does not need to know when if it truly trusts Who. The God who made the promise also governs the timing. And His timing is never late. What feels delayed to us is often being perfectly arranged by Him. God’s promises come with divine timing, not human deadlines. Stay Refreshed!
✨ Note This:
⏳ God often explains the destination while keeping the timetable to Himself.
🛡️ Responsibility:
Stop demanding a date from God and focus on being faithful in the season He has given you.
🙏 Prayer:
Father, help me trust Your timing. When I grow impatient or discouraged, remind me that my life is in Your hands. Teach me to walk by faith and not by deadlines. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
🔥 Prophetic Declaration:
My times are in God’s hands. Every promise He has spoken will come to pass at the appointed time. I will trust His timing and remain faithful in every season. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
