Jesus’ death on the cross was the ultimate sacrifice for the sins of humanity. By willingly bearing the weight of our sins, He broke the power of sin and provided a way for reconciliation between God and humanity, restoring what was broken and lost. The victory of the cross means that we are no longer slaves to sin but set free to live in righteousness and holiness. It means that we are forgiven, accepted, and adopted as children of God.
SCRIPTURE: “He himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed.” — 1 Peter 2:24 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Death, the final enemy, was conquered at the cross. Jesus’ resurrection on Easter morning sealed the victory over death, offering eternal life to all who believe. The cross is not the end but the beginning of a new and everlasting life in Christ. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Through the cross, Jesus demonstrated His power over the forces of evil and secured salvation for all who believe in Him.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for the incomparable sacrifice of Your Son, through which we find forgiveness, redemption, and eternal life. Help us to never forget the price that was paid for our salvation, and may we live each day in the light of Your victory. In the name of Jesus, we pray, Amen!
