Everything around us can change, but Jesus Christ remains unchanging. A life built upon Him can stand through seasons of uncertainty, pressure, and change.

“For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” — 1 Corinthians 3:11 (KJV)
Devotional:
Everyone is building their life on something. Some build on money. Some on relationships. Some on careers, reputation, possessions, connections, or personal ability. These things may be valuable, but none of them were designed to carry the full weight of our lives. Money can disappear. Relationships can change. Careers can end. People can disappoint us. Even our own strength can fail. But there is a foundation that does not move: Jesus Christ.
Paul writes, “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” A strong foundation does not prevent storms from coming. It determines what remains standing after the storm has passed. This is why Jesus spoke about the wise man who built his house upon the rock. Rain fell. Floods came. Winds blew. The difference was not that the wise man escaped the storm; his foundation survived it.

💧 Refreshing for the Day:
Following Christ does not guarantee a life without difficult seasons. But when our identity, hope, peace, and confidence are rooted in Him, circumstances no longer have the final word over us. So build your dreams. Work hard. Love people. Pursue God’s purpose for your life. But beneath everything else, build on Jesus.
Let Christ be your foundation when life is beautiful and when life becomes difficult. Let Him be your confidence when doors open and when they close. Let Him remain your hope when everything around you feels uncertain. Because everything else may change. Jesus Christ will not. Stay Refreshed!

Examine what currently gives you your greatest sense of security. Thank God for every blessing, but make sure none has quietly become your foundation. Reaffirm today that your confidence, identity, and hope are rooted first in Christ.

Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me Jesus, the foundation that cannot be moved. Keep me from building my life on things that can change or disappear. Root my faith, identity, hope, and confidence deeply in Christ. Whatever seasons come, help me remain steadfast and faithful to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
🌿 Prophetic Declaration:
Jesus Christ is my firm foundation. My life will not be built on possessions, people, applause, circumstances, or human strength. Though storms may come and seasons may change, I will remain anchored in Christ. He is my Rock, my hope, my confidence, and my sure foundation. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
