GIVE AWAY WHAT YOU NEED (3)
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: MONDAY, 27 FEBRUARY 2023
TOPIC: GIVE AWAY WHAT YOU NEED (3)
Many times, the answer to our own prayers comes from helping somebody else. Help is a seed. When we sow it into the life of others, we will reap the harvest bountifully. But we may think, this is so difficult. Considering the fact that we also have our own share of problems. So, it’s so natural we may want to help ourselves first, before helping others. But then, let’s learn from what the Bible has to say in Proverbs 11:25, it says,
SCRIPTURE: The generous man [is a source of blessing and] shall be prosperous and enriched, and he who waters will himself be watered [reaping the generosity he has sown]. (Proverbs 11:25 AMP)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Yes, beloved, we may have our own share of problems, but God is aware of them. He knows all about what you may be going through right now, yet He says, “when you refresh others, I will refresh you.” Maybe you’re depressed and have lost your joy, please go out and help somebody else get their joy back. Don’t sit around feeling sorry for yourself. Reach out to somebody else and God will reach out to you. Maybe you’re hurting because a friend disappointed you, and you’re tempted to live in self-pity. Please, I tell you, get your mind off of yourself, your problems, your heartache, your loss and go be good to somebody else. Don’t sit at home in shame, and depressed. Remember, your help is a seed, sow it today in the life of another, and you’ll reap it in abundance. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Help is a seed. When you sow it into the life of others, you will reap the harvest bountifully.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, beloved, ask God to help your life and give the grace to sow the seed of help in the life of other people.
PRAYER: Oh Lord, help my life and give me the grace to sow the seed of help in others, in Jesus’s name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As you sow the seed of help in the life of people, may you never lack in your life, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
