TOPIC: STAY COMMITTED TO THE PROMISES OF GOD
Beloved, I want to share with you today about staying committed to the promises of God. One of the greatest challenges of a man’s fate is “hurry-sickness”. You see, we’re too quicky and hasty in life. We want to always achieve everything at the same time. And when things are not working out the way we thought, we feel bitter and angry. But then, that’s not how life is wired to be. There are so many wonderful promises God has put in our hearts (Psm. 40:5). The very best of all assurances, yet unique and incomparable. But one indisputable truth about these promises is that they’re seasonal and time sensitive (Eccl 3:1). What this means is that whatever God has said concerning you, your family, business and career must surely come to pass (Ezek. 12:25). If and only if you stayed committed to the promises of God. Any wonder the Bible says in Habakkuk 2:2,
SCRIPTURE: For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it lingers, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay. (Habakkuk 2:3 NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, beloved, if you’re going to attain to your highest potential in life, you have to stay committed to the promises God has put in your heart. It may be taken longer than you thought, but God is still aware of it and He’s still on the throne. He’s a faithful God. He’s already set the time to bring to pass. And, when the appointed time comes, it will happen. So, don’t be too hard on yourself, remain faithful and devoted to God. And don’t give up on the promises God put in your heart. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: If you’re going to attain to your highest potential in life, you have to stay committed to the promises God has put in your heart.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, keep believing in the Word of God and remaining committed to the promises therein.
PRAYER: Oh Lord, thank You for Your Word today. Please give me the grace to remain committed to the promises You put in my heart, in Jesus’s name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: And may the Lord bless you and keep you, and cause His Face to shine upon you, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
