Holy Interruptions (6)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Tuesday, 10 February 2026
Topic: Holy Interruptions (6)
Focus: Outgrowing Places God Once Used
🔥Theme:
Not every disruption is an attack. Some interruptions are divine. This devotional series explores the moments when God steps into our routines, plans, and expectations—not to frustrate us, but to redirect us. These “holy interruptions” often come disguised as delays, detours, inconveniences, or unexpected changes. As you journey through this series, you’ll learn how to recognize God’s hand in interruptions, respond with faith instead of resistance, and discover purpose hidden in disruption.
📖 Key Verse: “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” — Proverbs 16:9
Devotional:
Not every place God uses you in is meant to be permanent. Some seasons are assignments, not destinations. Yet outgrowing a place can feel confusing, even painful.
We often assume that because God moved powerfully in a season, we must remain there forever. But Scripture shows that God is a God of movement. Abraham had to leave. Elijah had to move on. Jesus Himself moved from town to town.
📖 Scripture Reading:
- Genesis 12:1 — Leaving the familiar
- Isaiah 43:18–19 — God doing a new thing
- Ecclesiastes 3:1 — Seasons change by God’s design
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
So, beloved, outgrowing does not mean dishonoring. Leaving does not mean failure. Moving forward does not mean forgetting. Sometimes discomfort is not rebellion—it is a signal that God is calling you forward. Holding on too tightly to yesterday can keep you from what God is doing today. When God shifts you, it is because He is expanding your capacity. God leads us forward, not backward. Stay Refreshed!
✨ Note This:
🚶♂️ Outgrowing a season is often a sign of growth, not loss.
🛡️ Responsibility:
Ask God honestly if there is a season, place, or mindset He is asking you to release.
🙏 Prayer:
Father, give me grace to release what You have finished using in my life. Help me follow You forward without fear or guilt. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
🔥 Prophetic Declaration:
I move forward with God’s leading. I release past seasons with gratitude and embrace the new work God is doing in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
