When the Oil Finally Flows
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Saturday, 2 May 2026
Topic: The Crushing Before the Anointing (7)
Focus: When the Oil Finally Flows
🔥Theme:
How God uses pressure, pain, and breaking to produce the oil of purpose.
📖 Key Verse:
Key Verse: “But you have anointed me with fresh oil…” — Psalm 92:10
Devotional:
There comes a moment when the crushing gives way to flowing. After the pressure, the breaking, the hidden tears, and the long delay—something shifts. What was being formed in secret begins to manifest. The oil that was produced in the pressing starts to flow. Joseph stepped out of prison into purpose. David moved from caves to kingship. Jesus moved from the cross to resurrection power. The same God who allowed the crushing now releases the oil. And when it flows, you realize something: the oil carries depth because of the crushing.
📖 Scripture Reading:
- Psalm 92:10 — Anointed with fresh oil
- Genesis 41:14–15 — Joseph called from prison
- 2 Corinthians 4:7 — Treasure in jars of clay
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
It is not shallow. It is not fragile. It is tested, refined, and able to sustain what God has called you to carry. The pain was not wasted. The delay was not empty. The crushing produced something eternal. God does not forget the vessels He prepares. What He has produced in you will bless others, sustain your calling, and reveal His glory. Stay Refreshed!
✨ Note This:
🫒 The depth of your oil reflects the depth of your crushing.
🛡️ Responsibility:
Remain faithful—what God has produced in you will soon be revealed.
🙏 Prayer:
Father, thank You for every season that has shaped me. Let the oil You have produced in my life flow for Your glory and purpose. Use me according to Your will. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
🔥 Prophetic Declaration:
The oil of God is flowing in my life. Every season of crushing has produced strength, purpose, and anointing. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
