When God Speaks Before Anything Moves
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Sunday, 19 April 2026
Topic: Delayed Destiny (1)
Focus: When God Speaks Before Anything Moves
🔥Theme:
Trusting God when the promise takes longer than expected.
📖 Key Verse:
Key Verse: “Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.” — Habakkuk 2:3
Devotional:
One of the hardest parts of destiny is when God gives you a promise—but nothing changes. You heard Him. You believed Him. Yet days turn into months, and months into years, and the promise still looks distant. This is where many people grow discouraged. Joseph had dreams of leadership while still a young man, but instead of a throne, he found himself in a pit, then slavery, then prison. The promise came first. Movement came later.
📖 Scripture Reading:
- Genesis 37:5–8 — Joseph receives the dream
- Habakkuk 2:3 — Wait for the vision
- Romans 4:20–21 — Abraham fully persuaded
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
God often speaks before anything moves because faith must grow before fulfillment arrives. The promise is not proof that it will happen tomorrow. It is proof that God has already written the ending. Faith in delayed destiny means trusting what God said, even when your present reality looks nothing like it. Stay Refreshed!
✨ Note This:
🔥 A delayed promise is still a living promise.
🛡️ Responsibility:
Hold onto what God said, even if nothing around you currently reflects it.
🙏 Prayer:
Father, help me trust Your word even when I cannot yet see movement. Strengthen my faith in the waiting and keep my heart anchored in Your promise. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
🔥 Prophetic Declaration:
What God has spoken over my life will come to pass. Delay does not cancel destiny. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
