So, one other key secret to experiencing God’s amazing life is caring for others. Loving and caring for others is a great virtue; though silent, yet so powerful and worthwhile. Great insights and perceptions from the Scripture have shown that there’s a grace for greatness and abundant life associated with caring and praying for other people. A typical instance was that of Job. He has had in several months of futility and nights of misery (Job 7:3). At some time, still in afflictions, his friends visited him, they stayed with him for about 7 days and 7 nights (Job 2:13). But the Bible recorded in Job 42:10 that,
SCRIPTURE: When Job prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes. In fact, the LORD gave him twice as much as before! (Job 42:10 NLT)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: And in 1 Samuel 12:23, we’re also reminded that failing to care and pray for others is a sin against God. So, beloved, in as much as caring, loving and praying for other people is one of the key secrets to having and experiencing God’s amazing life and abundance, you need not to watch it. You don’t begin to exploit it just because of what you will get from God. But rather learn to love and care others as you would love and care for yourself. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Give to others what you would want to have and be to them who you want to become.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, learn to sincerely care, love and pray for other people. Not just for what you will gain, but let it come from your heart.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to care, love and pray others; even as I enjoy the amazing life you have in store for me, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As you begin to care, love, and pray for others, may the Lord restore all your lost fortunes and cause you to have an amazing life in Christ, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
