Beloved, we are not just focusing only on the secret to living a happy life here on earth, but in doing so we also make heaven. It is so important, we underscore this to distinguish the worldly style from the kingdom way to living a happy life. Yet another secret to living a happy life is by ‘believing that all things are God’s servants’. This is so true, and this is how it works. Turn your Bible to Psalm 119:89-91,
SCRIPTURE: For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven. Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth. They continue this day according to thine ordinances: for all are thy servants. (Psalm 119:89-91 KJV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Developing and growing the mindset that believes that all things are God’s servants transforms our awareness to life. This means that all things are used by God to accomplish His purposes. Sometimes, we tend to think that only the good people and good things of life serve God. But the Word of God tells us ‘ALL THINGS’, whether good or bad, are God’s servant and must therefore do His will.
So beloved, based on this, I make bold to tell you, be strong in the face of challenges, do not allow them to take away your joy, be deliberately happy, knowing that those challenges are simply serving God’s purpose for your life. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: All things are God’s servants, even the most ferocious and painful things of life serve Him and fulfil His Word.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, celebrate God, be happy and give Him praise at all times.
PRAYER: O LORD, thank You for Your Word today. I receive the grace to always be happy, irrespective of the situation in my life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: As you believe that all things are answerable to God’s will and purpose for your life, may He establish you and give you eternal joy and happiness, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
