The Spirit of Wisdom (5)

Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional

Date: Thursday, 18 September 2025

Topic: The Spirit of Wisdom (5)

Focus: Wisdom for Wealth and Work

🔥 Message:

In a world full of noise, confusion, and competing voices, wisdom is not optional—it is essential. Human reasoning may appear clever, but only divine wisdom leads to life, direction, and destiny. James 1:5 assures us: “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”

The Spirit of Wisdom is not just about making good choices—it is about living guided by the Holy Spirit in every decision, relationship, and season of life. Through this 7-day devotional, we will discover how to seek, receive, and walk in divine wisdom that brings clarity, peace, and breakthrough.

📖 Key Verse:

James 1:5 (NIV): “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”

Devotional:
God cares about how you handle your work, finances, and opportunities. Wealth without wisdom leads to waste, but wisdom turns resources into tools for impact and legacy. Proverbs 8:18, 21 declares: “With me are riches and honor, enduring wealth and prosperity… bestowing a rich inheritance on those who love me and making their treasuries full.” Joseph is a great example. In Egypt, wisdom gave him strategies not only to interpret dreams but to manage resources. Through divine insight, he turned seven years of abundance into preservation during seven years of famine (Genesis 41:33–36).

📖 Scripture Reading:
Proverbs 8:18, 21 – Wisdom brings wealth and prosperity.
Genesis 41:33–36 – Joseph’s wisdom preserved Egypt.
Deuteronomy 8:18 – God gives the power to produce wealth.
