The Questions Heaven Never Answered
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Tuesday, 16 June 2026
Topic: The Things God Didn’t Explain (3)
Focus: The Questions Heaven Never Answered
🔥Theme:
Trusting God when He gives instructions without explanations.
📖 Key Verse:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5
Devotional:
There are some questions God answers. And there are some He doesn’t. This can be one of the most difficult realities of walking with God. We want explanations for everything. Why did that door close? Why did that relationship end? Why did that prayer seem unanswered? Why did that season take so long? Why did that loss happen? Yet throughout Scripture, there were people who carried questions that heaven never fully explained. Job never received a detailed explanation for all his suffering. Paul was never told why his thorn in the flesh remained. Moses was never given a complete explanation for every wilderness delay. Instead of explanations, God often gave them something greater: His presence.
📖 Scripture Reading:
- Job 38:1–4 — God answers Job from the whirlwind
- Deuteronomy 29:29 — The secret things belong to the Lord
- Isaiah 55:8–9 — My thoughts are not your thoughts
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
We think our greatest need is information. Many times, our greatest need is trust. God does not owe us an explanation for every chapter of our lives. But He does promise His presence in every chapter. There comes a point in spiritual maturity where faith says: “Even if I never receive the answer, I will still trust the One who knows it.” That is not weak faith. That is mature faith. The deepest trust is not built on explanations. It is built on relationship. You do not need every answer to trust a faithful God. Stay Refreshed!
✨ Note This:
🌙 Some questions are answered by God’s presence rather than God’s explanation.
🛡️ Responsibility:
Release one unanswered question to God today and choose trust over frustration.
🙏 Prayer:
Father, there are things I do not understand and questions I still carry. Help me trust You even when answers do not come. Let Your presence become greater to me than the explanations I seek. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
🔥 Prophetic Declaration:
I trust the wisdom of God above my understanding. Even where I have questions, I will walk by faith, knowing that God is faithful and good. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
