THE PAYBACKS OF SUBMITTING TO GOD
TIMES OF REFRESHING
ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL by Obiorah Prince Emeka
DATE: THURSDAY 24 DECEMBER 2020
Growing up as a child, we were meant to understand that anything that has advantage equally has disadvantage. But, in my few years in the service of God and experience as a believer; I have come to the knowledge that total and complete submission to our Lord and Master Jesus Christ is the only thing that has advantage and doesn’t have disadvantage.
Everything about submitting to God is great. Having previously recognised what submission to God is and ways one can submit to God, now let us look at the benefits or paybacks of submitting to God.
SCRIPTURE:
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time, (1 Peter 5:6) KJV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:
When you submit to God, the things the world is struggling for would struggle for you.
So, what do you benefit when you submit to God?
1. When you submit to God, every other thing in life would submit to you, (Matthew 6:33).
2. Your submission to God determines your distinction in life, (Psalm 1:1-3).
3. The answers and solutions to every major challenge in life are tied at the place of genuine and sincere submission to God, (Jer. 33:3).
Beloved, in Genesis 1:28, God released upon man the mandate for fruitfulness, multiplication and the power of dominion. And even now, the mandate remains authentic and accessible, but only to those who are totally submitted to God. Why not make that wonderful decision today? Submit to God and you shall be blessed. Stay Lifted!
NOTE THIS:
When you submit to God, the things the world is struggling for would struggle for you.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Go through today’s devotional once again, and sincerely make efforts to submit to God.

O LORD, give me the grace to submit unaffectedly to You, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD:
