WAYS YOU CAN SUBMIT TO GOD

It has been demonstrated that submission to God is to consciously give in ourselves to God without any reservation. And one’s submission to God determines his portion with God. Now let us look at ways we can submit to God.
SCRIPTURE:
Submit to God and be at peace with him; in this way prosperity will come to you, (Job 22:21) NIV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:
When we submit to God, we give our lives to His authority and control.
So, in what ways can we submit ourselves to God?
1. One way to submit to God and give our lives to the authority and control of our Lord Jesus Christ is through salvation. We begin submission to God by believing in Jesus as God’s Son who rose from the dead to give us eternal life, (Romans 10:9).
2. Through total obedience to the Word of God, instructions, and teachings of our Lord Jesus, (Joshua 1:8).
3. We submit to God through godly living and witnessing for Christ, (Psalm 1:1-2, Matt. 28:19-20).
4. Through submitting to one another out of love and reverence for Christ, (Eph 5:21, Matt 25:40).
Beloved, when we come to Jesus for salvation, obey Him and keep His words, treat others with love, and share Christ with others; we are absolutely submitting to God, and it shall be well with us. Stay Lifted!
NOTE THIS:
When we submit to God, we give our lives to His authority and control.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Consciously make efforts to submit to God.
PRAYER:
O LORD, give me the grace to submit totally to You, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD:
As you submit to God today, may He prosper you and yours, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
