SUBMIT TO GOD

TIMES OF REFRESHING

ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL by Obiorah Prince Emeka

DATE: TUESDAY 22 DECEMBER 2020

Seeing a clear light and having a divine mandate and access to fulfilling one’s purpose, dreams and desires in life is a function of total and complete submission to God. To submit to God is to consciously give in ourselves to God without any reservation. Submission to God determines progress in life and destiny.

The truth is there are certain mysteries and dimensions of God’s power accessible to those who are submitted to God. And until you are submitted to God, you are not permitted to have access to them.

SCRIPTURE:

Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you, (James 4:7) NKJV

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:

Your submission to God determines your portion with God.

Concerning submission to God, let us take note of the following:

1.    The deeper your submission to God, the deeper your revelation of God; and that determines your encounter, (Eph. 1:18-23).

2.    The extent you are submitted to God, is the extent you go in life. It then means that the level at which your knowledge of submission to God is, that level you would go in life, (Job 22:21).

3.    Submission to God guarantees access to divine mysteries, (Jer. 33:3).

4.    Submission to God guarantees a person the power to resist evil, (James 4:7).

Beloved, Jesus said in John 8:12, “I am the Light of the world”; So, submitting to God gives you access to the light. In Him, you shine so brightly that no grave yard spirit, evil nor power of the enemy in the sea or on the land shall comprehend you, (John 1:5). Stay Lifted!

NOTE THIS:

Your submission to God determines your portion with God.

RESPONSIBILITY:

Submit your life to God today, and let nothing hold you back.

PRAYER:

O LORD, give me the grace to submit totally to You, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)

PROPHETIC WORD:

As you submit to God, may He continue to defend you and deliver you from evil, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
