THE BENEFITS OF UNDERSTANDING YOUR POSITION IN CHRIST

Yesterday, we saw that it is only in Christ, that one can exist, succeed, lead a good and victorious Christian life and accomplish our God’s given purpose on earth. And one’s position in Christ is the key to living the dynamic Christian life. Now, let us look at the benefits to those who understand their position in Christ.
SCRIPTURE:
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms, (Ephesians 1:3) NLT
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:
Your position in Christ determines your elevation in life and destiny.
From our anchor scripture, “who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing” means that in Christ we have all the benefits of knowing God—being chosen for salvation, being adopted as His children, have our sins forgiven, have access to the mind of God by the help of the Holy Spirit, possess the power to do God’s will and the hope of living with Christ. And ”the Heavenly realms” means that these blessings are eternal, not temporal, and they come from Christ’s spiritual realm.
Beloved, understanding your position in Christ is one thing; accepting the fact, living it out and allowing it to become your life style is crucial. Now, listen, the enemy will always want you to focus on your condition and forget your position that you are the righteousness of God in Christ, 2Cor. 5:21; and that you are seated with Him in heavenly places. But I counsel you, remain positioned in Christ. Do not shift your focus to your condition, and it shall be well with you. Stay Lifted!
NOTE THIS:
Your position in Christ determines your elevation in life and destiny.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Refuse to shift your position to your condition. Remain solidly positioned in Christ Jesus.
PRAYER:
O LORD JESUS, give me the unusual grace to remain positioned in You, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD:
As you are positioned in Christ, I speak into your life the unusual grace for elevation, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
