In life, careful submission to keys to activate the favour of God in a person’s life is good, but the insight to sustain it is dominant. So, we began to look at “how can one sustain God’s favour”. And we learnt that a continuous intimate walk with God helps a man to sustain God’s favour, as we saw in the account of Enoch, (Gen. 5:21-24).
Today we shall be looking at “desire to do the will of God”as a factor to sustain God’s favour.
SCRIPTURE:
As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God…(Psalm 42:1-2)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:
Desire is the fuel to sustain God’s favour.
Desire to do the will of God is the true secret to sustain God’s favour upon one’s life. It is a holy desire to know Christ and make Him known. It is a craving to drink deeply from God’s fountain of beauty, holiness, truth, and limitless love.
Of a truth, every believer should crave to do God’s will always. Jesus says in Mathew 5:6 (GNT), “Happy are those whose greatest desire is to do what God requires; God will satisfy them fully! David desired to do the will of God all the days of his life, and God’s favour took him from wilderness as a shepherd to palace as a king.
Beloved, what do you want more than anything? Do want to sustain God’s favour in your life? Do you want to succeed in your business? To raise children who love God? Then let your heart desire for His will. When God sees that your heart’s desire is the same as His desire for your life, He will be pleased to grant it (Psalm 37:4).

NOTE THIS:

RESPONSIBILITY:
Ask for the grace to desire to do the will of God.
PRAYER:
O LORD, give me the grace to desire to do your will always, in Jesus’ name Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD:
May God see your heart desire for Him and favour you and yours, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
