LOVE FOR JESUS: THE GREATEST KEY TO SUSTAINING GOD’S FAVOUR

Love for Jesus is the most profitable and greatest key to sustaining God’s favour. Jesus is Lord and He is the source of favour. To love the Lord is to follow Him wherever He leads, to obey Him whatever He asks, and to trust Him whatever the trial.
Loving Jesus demonstrates loving Him entirely and wholly, and not for self-gain. Love for Jesus is not based on emotion but on the will. Each characteristic of the love is a deliberate choice to live according to His will. So, loving Him would be a demonstrable action, not an emotional feeling, (John 14:15).
SCRIPTURE:
…You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind, (Matthew 22:37). ESV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:
Your love for Jesus is directly proportional to sustaining God’s favour upon your life.
God honors and favours the heart that reveres and loves His Son without hesitation, without reservations, and without regard for cost. God gives us eternal life when we embrace His Son (1 John 5:11-12). He promises to give us whatever we ask for on behalf of His Son (John 16:23). He seeks to mold us into the image of His Son (Romans 8:28-29).
Beloved, if you want to obtain favour from God, be fully committed to His beloved Son, Jesus Christ. Worship and revere Him, identify with His pain, gain a heart like His, and display His characteristics in your life.
