Rooted: Growing Deep Before Going Far (2)

Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional

Date: Monday, 30 June 2025

Topic: Rooted: Growing Deep Before Going Far (2)

Focus: Hidden but Growing

🔥 Message:

Before God launches you, He grounds you. This devotional series will help you embrace the beauty of spiritual formation, character development, and divine preparation. Like a tree, your destiny is determined by how deep your roots go. You were not made to wither under pressure — you were made to stand strong, grow tall, and bear lasting fruit. But first, you must be rooted.

📖 Key Verse:

“He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers.” – Psalm 1:3 (NIV)

Devotional:
Just because no one sees you doesn’t mean God has forgotten you. Growth doesn’t begin on the stage—it begins in the soil. In fact, the most critical part of a tree’s life happens underground, where no eye can see. The hidden season is not punishment—it’s preparation. Moses spent 40 years in the wilderness tending sheep before he led people. David was anointed king but went back to the fields with the sheep. Jesus, the Son of God, was not revealed until the time was right.

📖 Scripture Reading:
Luke 5:16 – “But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.”
Isaiah 49:2 – “He made me into a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver.”
Psalm 27:14 – “Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart…”

💧 Refreshing for the Day:
Beloved, the hidden season is God’s way of protecting what He is perfecting. He is developing your character, healing your heart, pruning your desires, and anchoring you in His presence. What grows in secret sustains you in public. So, don’t rush to be seen—remain faithful in the hidden place. In due time, the fruit will speak. Being hidden is not the same as being forgotten. In the dark, God is developing your roots. Stay Refreshed!

Note This:
What God grows in secret will one day shine in public—if you let Him finish the work.

🛡️ Responsibility:
✅ Set aside 15 minutes today in a quiet place. Ask God, “What are You growing in me right now?” Write down what you hear or sense.

🙏 Prayer:
Lord, I surrender my need to be seen. Shape me in the secret place. Help me embrace the hidden season and grow in grace, truth, and trust. I believe You are preparing me for what’s next—even when I can’t see it. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

🔥 Prophetic Declaration:
I am not forgotten—I am hidden for a purpose! In the secret place, I grow in strength, wisdom, and intimacy with God. My roots are going deep, and my fruit will remain! Alleluia!
