Beloved, as Easter approaches, we are invited to prepare our hearts to celebrate the profound truth of redemption that lies at the heart of this sacred season. Easter serves as a poignant reminder of God’s power to redeem even the darkest moments of our lives, bringing beauty from ashes and hope from despair.
SCRIPTURE: “He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.” – Isaiah 61:1-3 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: In the brokenness of our world and the brokenness of our own lives, it can be easy to lose sight of God’s redemptive plan. We may find ourselves weighed down by past mistakes, ensnared by fear, or overwhelmed by the challenges of life. Yet, Easter calls us to lift our eyes to the cross—to behold the One who bore our sins and conquered death itself. Stay Refreshed!

PRAYER: O LORD, as we prepare our hearts for Easter, we thank You for the hope of redemption that it brings. Help us to embrace this hope and to trust in Your power to transform our lives. Prepare us to celebrate the victory of Jesus’ resurrection with hearts full of gratitude and praise. In the name of Jesus, we pray, Amen!
