LIVING IN REALITY OF GOD’S LOVE

TIMES OF REFRESHING

ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL by Obiorah Prince Emeka

DATE: SATURDAY 26 DECEMBER 2020

The love of God is the very foundation and basis of the believer’s walk with Christ. There is no better time to be reminded of this profound truth than this period of Christmas – when those who are faithful commemorate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is the greatest expression of God’s love and emergence of hope for the salvation and liberation of mankind.

The authenticity of God’s love is understanding that God takes the love that resides within Himself and bestows it upon us. Grasping this unalloyed truth illuminates our mind and transforms us to live a great Christian life.

SCRIPTURE:

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever, (Psalm 107:1) NIV

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:

The love of God is profoundly massive and unmatched in its greatness.

Any wonder St Augustine of Hippo grasped this unflinching reality and he said, “God loves each of us as if there were only one of us.” The love of God is transcending and overpowering. His love can move mountains, stop the roaring seas, heal broken bones and wounded hearts, (Isaiah 61:1-3). It can transform lives, casts out fear and set free those held captive by sin and shame, (John 3:16, 1 John 4:18).

Beloved, God’s love creates a strong bond in you and boosts your relationship with the Father. And understanding this relationship motivates you, transforms your spiritual life and establishes you in life and destiny. Stay Lifted!

NOTE THIS:

The love of God is profoundly massive and unmatched in its greatness.

RESPONSIBILITY:

Always be thankful to God, He loves and cares for you.

PRAYER:

O LORD, I thank you for your love and the gift of hope in Christ Jesus. Help me to live in this reality all the days of my life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)

PROPHETIC WORD:

May the birth of Christ bring peace, joy and love in your life and family, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
