Devotional:
There was a time when I believed I had found Jesus. Looking back now, I realize the truth is even more beautiful. He found me long before I knew Him. Before I understood His grace, He was already extending it. Before I learned to pray, He was already listening. Before I recognized His hand, He was quietly directing my steps. Even in the seasons when I lived without much thought of Him, His love never stopped pursuing me. When I reflect on my life, I can see moments that once seemed ordinary but were actually marked by His presence. A closed door that protected me from harm. An unexpected conversation that changed my direction. A disappointment that kept me from making a costly mistake. At the time, I saw coincidence. Today, I see the gentle guidance of my Savior.

💧 Refreshing for the Day:
The disciples on the road to Emmaus walked with Jesus for miles without recognizing Him. It was only later, when they looked back, that everything became clear. They realized He had been with them the entire time. How often has that been true in our own lives? We wondered where God was, only to discover later that He had never left our side. Walking with Jesus has taught me that His presence is not dependent on my awareness of Him. He is faithful even when I fail to notice Him. He works behind the scenes, orchestrating events with wisdom that only eternity can fully reveal.
Looking back, I no longer see a series of random events. I see the footprints of Jesus. I see His mercy in places where I expected judgment. I see His protection where I once complained about delays. I see His love woven through every chapter of my story. What I once called chance, I now call grace. What walking with Jesus has taught me is this:
Before I ever reached for Him, He was already reaching for me. Stay Refreshed!

🌿 God’s presence is not measured by whether you can see Him. His faithfulness continues even when His hand is hidden.

Take a few moments today to reflect on your life’s journey. Think of one event that once seemed confusing or disappointing. Ask God to help you see how He may have been protecting, guiding, or preparing you through it.
🙏 Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me before I fully knew You. Thank You for walking with me through every season of my life, even when I failed to recognize Your presence. Open my eyes to see Your faithfulness in both my past and my present. Help me to trust that You are always working for my good, even when I cannot understand Your ways. May my heart grow in gratitude as I remember Your unfailing love and constant care. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
🌿 Prophetic Declaration:
I declare that the hand of God has been upon my life from the very beginning. His presence has guided me, His mercy has preserved me, and His grace has carried me through every season. I will no longer view my life through the lens of coincidence, but through the faithfulness of Christ. As I look back, I will see His fingerprints everywhere, and as I move forward, I will walk confidently, knowing He goes before me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
