Beloved, I want to share with you today about giving away what you need. As human beings, we’re so bent to self and ingrown to only the things concerning us. “Our problems, our businesses, our children, our families, and all that. We don’t seem to care about others. But the truth is, as long as we’re only focused on ourselves, we will get stuck where we are. Here is the key, the way to get what we want is by giving away what we need. If we need happiness, then we go all out to make others happy. And God will reward our efforts and bring happiness into our lives. If we need a good health, we will go and make someone get well, and God will give us a good health. That’s how it works, and the very same thing the apostle Paul meant in Colossians 3:23-24, when he said,
SCRIPTURE: And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. (Colossians 3:23-24 NKJV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, when we give away what we need it will surely come back to us. Sometimes, God puts the answer to our prayers in the need of others. So, when we reach out to the need of the people, we release the answers to our prayers. This is a rare principle, yet so powerful. When God sees you getting outside of yourself, and giving your all to others, He will bless you and bring you in abundance. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: The way to get what you want is by giving away what you need.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, beloved, be intentional about this matter. Consciously become an answer to the prayers of others and see your prayers answered.
PRAYER: Oh Lord, give me the grace to reach out to the need of others, and cause my prayers answered, in Jesus’s name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As you resolve to help others, may you find help to your needs, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
