So, in the wake of any unfair circumstance in our life, how we respond to it is the key to hold us down or to catapult us to the next level of our destiny. This body of truth was proven and made manifest in the life of Job. Recall that for many years Job was down in trouble and in serious pains. He prayed and cried to God to take away the pain and healed him. And all the times he prayed; God didn’t heal him. It was never because God didn’t want to heal him, but Job hadn’t understood the principle. He was still complaining to God and was yet to pass the test. But then in Job 42:2, the light of the knowledge of God came upon him, he became aware of the truth, and he said to God, “I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted.” However, to further establish this newfound insight, he declared in verses 5-6,
SCRIPTURE: My ears had heard of you, but now my eyes have seen you. Therefore, I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes.” (Job 42:5-6 NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Now God wanted to punish Job’s friends for not replicating the same truth about Him like Job did. And God again, was all out to administer the one last lap of test to Job. So, God sent his friends to him to pray for them. The Scripture recorded that, “when Job prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes. In fact, the LORD gave him twice as much as before!” (Vs 10). So, beloved, you see, don’t fight against everything you don’t like and is not comfortable to you. That could be an opportunity for you to come up higher in life. Be aware of this fact, and don’t let the same things continue to hold you back in life. Stay Refreshed!

PRAYER: Oh Lord, give me the grace to be sensitive in the spirit to rise above limitations of life, in Jesus’s name, Amen!
