DON’T BE AFRAID TO TRY SOMETHING NEW

One of the sincere reasons why we fall short to manifesting our God’s given purpose on earth is because we’re constantly cowering away from trying new things and allowing fear to define our existence. We are so glued to normalcy, even when we live in a dynamic world. The concept of “as it is used to be” has stagnated too many people. But we can overcome it. Yes, we can, by trying out something new.

SCRIPTURE: Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. (Isaiah 41:10 NLT)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, when a thing is no longer working in your life, instead of burying all your efforts, resources, and time in it, invest those resources in a new venture. Develop an adventurous mindset. Adventure isn’t something meant to scare you, it’s something to motivate you. After all, life with God is an adventure. It’s not every trendy thing that is meant for you. If it’s not working for you, don’t be afraid to try something new.

Again, don’t let the fear of failure keep you from the joy of something new. Failure is not a curse, it’s a part of success. Any wonder, my wife Vivian would always say, “I can live with the regret of failing, but I can’t live with the regret of not trying”. So, the best way to not regret the things you didn’t do is to do them. Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: Don’t let the fear of failure keep you from the joy of something new.

RESPONSIBILITY: Be optimistic in trying a new thing, for you won’t know how wonderful it may be until you do it.

PRAYER: O LORD, I receive the grace to be objective, and not to give in to fear, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)

PROPHETIC WORD: May God give you the courage to be bold and strengthen you in all your ways, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
