Many times, what is holding us down is our own thinking. Not knowing that a new life calls for a new thinking, a new mindset, and a new way of life. We can never hope to see great things happen in our lives while we keep engaging mediocrity by the way we think. No wonder Jesus said in Mark 2:22, “You can’t put a new wine in an old wine skin”. Wine skins at that time is made out of leather, when they get older the leather will become hard and rigid. If you put a new wine in it, the wine will expand and cause the leather to burst.

SCRIPTURE: “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the wine would burst the wineskins, and the wine and the skins would both be lost. New wine calls for new wineskins.” (MARK 2:22 NLT)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Jesus was invariably saying, you can’t have a new life with old thinking… If you think you have reached your limit, then you have; if you think the problem is too big, then it is and if you think life is too difficult and you can’t make it, then so shall it be for you. Beloved, so hear this, you can never rise beyond where your thinking ends. You can’t continue to think the same way and expect to get a different result. No, to the limit your thinking stops, that limit you’d go in life.

So, here is the key, know that your mindset matters, and change your mindset. You have to get a new mindset. Start believing bigger, expecting bigger. Stop limiting yourself by your thinking. You can do better of when you have a new mindset. Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: You can never rise beyond where your thinking ends. And how far you think, that far you will go in life and destiny.

RESPONSIBILITY: So, go to God in prayer, ask Him for the grace to change your thinking and give you a new mindset.

PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to change my thinking, and give me a new mindset, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)

PROPHETIC WORD: May God give you the grace to change your thinking and give you a new mindset, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
