COME OUT OF THAT SHADE (2)

Beloved, the truth is, you would never know what God has in store for you until you come out of the shade that has been holding you down and blocking your growth in life. Therefore, today we shall be looking at rare insights on how a person can come out of the shade that’s blocking his growth. So, one thing that can easily stunt a person’s growth in life is a wrong association. The people that we’re spending time with. Any wonder the scripture says in Proverbs 22:24-25,

SCRIPTURE: Do not make friends with an angry man, and do not associate with a hot-tempered man, or you may learn his ways and entangle yourself in a snare. (Proverbs 22:24-25 BSB)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: It’s said that association produces assimilation. You’re going to become like the people you continually associate with. You need to evaluate your friendships, the people you’re hanging out with. Are they making you better, pushing you up higher, inspiring you to reach your dreams? Or are they causing you to compromise, to be a mediocre? You may not realize it, but they’re blocking your growth, they’re limiting your potential. You must make a change. Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: The friends you keep defines you. When you walk with wise people you will become wise.

RESPONSIBILITY: So, be wise not to flock amongst wrong association.

PRAYER: O LORD, thank You for Your Word. In my efforts to come out of the shades that’s blocking my growth in life, cause me not to keep wrong association, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

PROPHETIC WORD: May the Lord help you to discern your friendship, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
