YOUR ENCOUNTER AND YOUR TRANSFORMATION

TIMES OF REFRESHING

ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL by Obiorah Prince Emeka

DATE: FRIDAY 8 JANUARY 2021

It is important for us to know that every time we come in the presence of the Lord and encounter Him; we experience a transformation of life. A transformation that helps us to take our place in destiny. We encounter God at the altar of prayer. Whenever we encounter God, there is a shift in the realm of the spirit.

SCRIPTURE:

And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day… And he said, thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed, (Genesis 32:24-28) KJV

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:

Your encounter with God determines your transformation in life and destiny.

What happens whenever we encounter the Lord;

i.             Encounter with God transforms our story and makes us to take our place in life and destiny, (John 4:1-26).

ii.            Change of level happens anytime we encounter God at the altar of prayer, (Rev. 4:1).

iii.          An encounter with God catapults a man to greater heights in destiny. And brings about a stepping up to another level in life.

Beloved hear this, no man had encountered God and his life remains the same. And this was the experience of Jacob from our anchor scripture. He had an encounter with the Lord at Peniel, and God changed his name to Israel. So, I counsel you, as the year is fresh, make efforts to encounter God now. Know it that every fresh encounter with the Lord produces a fresh transformation. Stay Refreshed!
