Devotional:
We often pray for God to change our circumstances. Heal the sickness. Open the door. Provide the breakthrough. Restore the relationship. Remove the burden. Yet there are moments when God answers differently. Instead of immediately changing the situation, He draws us closer to Himself. At first, this can feel disappointing. We asked for an answer. God offered His presence. But as we walk with Him, we begin to discover a profound truth: His presence gives us what circumstances never could. Peace in the middle of uncertainty. Strength in weakness. Hope in disappointment. Joy that survives tears.

God’s presence is not a substitute for the answer—it is the greatest answer He can give. Many of us spend our lives chasing answers. God is inviting us into communion. Because when you truly find Him, you discover that His presence sustains you even while you are still waiting for the answer. Sometimes God does not immediately change your situation because He is using that very situation to bring you closer than you have ever been before. The answer may be delayed. His presence never is. Stay Refreshed!
