Devotional:
We often notice what God is doing around us, but some of His greatest work happens where nobody else can see. He works on our motives. Our thoughts. Our private struggles. Our attitudes. The pride we hide well. The wounds we never discuss. The habits nobody knows about. Because God is not merely interested in improving our public appearance. He wants to transform our hearts. David was still tending sheep when God began preparing him to become king. Long before there was a throne, there was a field. Before public recognition came private formation. This is often God’s pattern.

- 1 Samuel 16:7 — God does not judge as people do; He looks at the heart.
- Psalm 139:23–24 — David invites God to search his heart and reveal anything that needs correction.

We may be asking Him to enlarge our platform while He is strengthening our character. We may be praying for greater opportunities while He is teaching us humility, patience, integrity, and obedience. Do not despise the hidden work. What God develops in private will eventually determine how we handle what He entrusts to us publicly. And sometimes the clearest evidence of spiritual growth is not something everyone can see. It is knowing that you are no longer the person you used to be when nobody is watching. Let Jesus work deeply. Because the life He is forming in you must have roots before it can bear lasting fruit. Stay Refreshed!

Invite God into the hidden areas of your life today. Ask Him to reveal any attitude, motive, habit, or wound that needs His transforming touch. Do not focus only on appearing right before people; desire to be right before God.

Heavenly Father, search my heart and continue Your hidden work within me. Purify my motives, heal what is wounded, correct what is wrong, and strengthen my character. Make my private life pleasing to You, and form in me a life that genuinely reflects Jesus. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
🌿 Prophetic Declaration:
God is working deeply within me. My character, motives, thoughts, and private life are being transformed by His grace. I will not resist His hidden work or despise seasons of preparation. Christ is being formed in me from the inside out, and my life will bear lasting fruit for His glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
