Date: Friday, 19 December 2025
Topic: When God Says ‘Wait (6)
Focus: Waiting Grows Patience and Peace
🔥Theme: When God Says “Wait”
Waiting seasons can feel confusing, slow, and uncomfortable, yet they are often the places where God does His deepest work. This devotional series explores why God sometimes asks us to wait and what He is doing during those quiet, in-between moments. Through Scripture and reflection, we will learn how to trust God’s timing, find strength in the waiting, and recognize that divine delays are purposeful—not wasted. So, beloved, as you walk through this series, expect your perspective on waiting to shift from frustration to faith, and from impatience to peace.
📖 Key Verse:
“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength…” — Isaiah 40:31
Devotional:
Waiting often challenges our patience. It tests how we respond when things don’t move as quickly as we want. Yet patience is one of the fruits God develops most deeply in waiting seasons. Romans 12:12 encourages us to be patient in affliction. Waiting teaches us to rest instead of worry, to trust instead of panic. As patience grows, peace follows.
📖 Scripture Reading:
• Romans 12:12 — Patient in affliction.
• Galatians 5:22 — Patience is fruit of the Spirit.
• Philippians 4:6–7 — God’s peace guards our hearts.
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
So, beloved, God does not want waiting to make us anxious. He wants it to make us secure. When we stop fighting the wait and start trusting God in it, our hearts become calmer. Peace grows where patience is allowed to develop. Stay Refreshed!
✨ Note This:
🕊️ Waiting shapes patience, and patience produces peace.
