It is said that the taste of a pudding is in its swallow; so, it is in life. The beauty of life, and all that we make of it find its sincere expression in godly relationships. Relationship with men and brethren, where we come together in love, and in oneness of heart, sharing all we have in common and sharing also in the Word of God. So, as we celebrate with others, we also share the Word of God with them. It has a way of building inner confidence in a person. And that was the true secret of the apostle’s success and great power, (Acts 4:32-35).
SCRIPTURE: All the believers were together and had everything in common. (Acts 2:44) BSB
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, do you know that one of the reasons why many people are frustrated and depressed in our society today is because they lack genuine spiritual relationship. Both the top class, the middle class and lower class alike. You will see people greatly dressed and looking gorgeous, but deep down inside they’re depressed. You don’t judge a book by its cover. We all need godly relationship. Not just an empty relationship, but the one mixed with the vitality of the Word of God.
Please don’t say, “the world is so corrupt, you don’t know who to trust with a visit”. But you can call or do something spectacular. We need to show by example. Stay Lifted!
NOTE THIS: Sharing and partaking together in the are the central to fellowship. They are the ingredients of true worship.
RESPONSIBILITY: As you go to celebrate with someone today, also share the Word of God with them.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to share all I have with others in common, including your Word, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: May the Lord be gracious to you and hear you when you call, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
