Waiting has a way of revealing what is in our hearts. It exposes impatience, fear, control, and sometimes misplaced trust. But this is not to shame us—it is to align us. When God asks us to wait, He is often adjusting our desires so they match His will. Waiting slows us down enough for God to speak, correct, and redirect us gently.
