Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional

Date: Wednesday, 17 December 2025

Topic: When God Says ‘Wait (4)

Focus: Waiting Teaches You to Trust God’s Timing

🔥Theme: When God Says “Wait”

Waiting seasons can feel confusing, slow, and uncomfortable, yet they are often the places where God does His deepest work. This devotional series explores why God sometimes asks us to wait and what He is doing during those quiet, in-between moments. Through Scripture and reflection, we will learn how to trust God’s timing, find strength in the waiting, and recognize that divine delays are purposeful—not wasted. So, beloved, as you walk through this series, expect your perspective on waiting to shift from frustration to faith, and from impatience to peace.

📖 Key Verse:

“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength…”Isaiah 40:31

Devotional:

One of the hardest parts of waiting is not knowing when God will act. We often trust God’s power, but struggle to trust His timing. Yet God’s timing is always perfect.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 says that God makes everything beautiful in its time. Not early. Not late. On time. Waiting stretches our trust. It teaches us to lean on God instead of rushing ahead or forcing outcomes. When we move before God’s time, we can create unnecessary pain. But when we wait for His timing, we step into peace.

📖 Scripture Reading:

• Ecclesiastes 3:1, 11 — God’s timing makes things beautiful.
• Habakkuk 2:3 — The vision waits for the appointed time.
• Psalm 31:15 — “My times are in Your hands.”

💧 Refreshing for the Day:

Beloved, God sees the full picture. He knows the right moment to open doors, answer prayers, and bring change. What feels slow to you is carefully timed by Him. So, trust the clock of heaven. God’s timing may feel slow, but it is always perfect. Stay Refreshed!

Note This:

Waiting is trusting God’s clock, not your calendar.

🛡️ Responsibility:

Say today: “Lord, I trust Your timing, even when I don’t understand it.”

🙏 Prayer:

Father, help me trust Your timing. Give me patience and peace as I wait for You to move. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

🔥 Prophetic Declaration:

I will not rush ahead of God. His timing is working for my good. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
