UNDERSTANDING SPIRITUAL SENSITIVITY (1)
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: WEDNESDAY, 23 JUNE 2021
Life is spiritual. This is in fact a truth that many Christians are ignorant of, to their unfortunate peril. The spirituality of life must be understood by every Christian if we must excel in every sphere. A Christian ignorant of this truth will live in a realm where his right and authority as a believer will never be exercised. But when a believer gains knowledge of this truth and begins to sharpen his spiritual senses, answers to many issues of life will come cheaply to him.
SCRIPTURE: For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. (Romans 8:6) KJV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Living a life sensitive in the spirit guarantees joy, peace and freedom for the believer. Beloved, when we live sensitive to the leadings and directions of the Holy Spirit, we avoid many traps set for us by the enemy. Many reasons why Christians still live a life of bondage, and are still under the attack of demonic and occultic kingdoms, witchcraft covens and all sorts of wickedness is owed to the fact that they are spiritually insensitive.
God desires for us to excel in life and destiny but there are principles we must follow for this will of God to become reality in our lives. Being spiritually sensitive is one of those principles. So, we must learn to walk and live a life of the spirit so that our spirit, soul and body can prosper (3 John 1:2). Stay lifted.
NOTE THIS: Living a life sensitive in the spirit guarantees joy, peace and freedom for the believer.
RESPONSIBILITY: Strive for discipline and diligence to grow spiritually and be sensitive to the leadings of the Holy Spirit.
PRAYER: O LORD, help me to be discipline and grow spiritually, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: May God cause you to be discipline and grow spiritually, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
BIBLE TEXTS: Rom 8:6, 3 John 1:2
