Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Wednesday, 17 September 2025
Topic: The Spirit of Wisdom (4)
Focus: Wisdom for Relationships
🔥 Message:
In a world full of noise, confusion, and competing voices, wisdom is not optional—it is essential. Human reasoning may appear clever, but only divine wisdom leads to life, direction, and destiny. James 1:5 assures us: “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”
The Spirit of Wisdom is not just about making good choices—it is about living guided by the Holy Spirit in every decision, relationship, and season of life. Through this 7-day devotional, we will discover how to seek, receive, and walk in divine wisdom that brings clarity, peace, and breakthrough.
📖 Key Verse:
James 1:5 (NIV): “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”
Devotional:
The quality of your relationships determines the quality of your life. Many breakthroughs are connected to people, and many battles are tied to wrong associations. This is why divine wisdom is critical in choosing, nurturing, and managing relationships. Proverbs 13:20 teaches: “Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.” Wisdom guides you in discerning who to walk with and who to avoid. Jesus had many followers, but He was intentional with the 12, closer still with the 3, and deeply intimate with the Father. That’s wisdom in relationships—knowing levels of access.
📖 Scripture Reading:
Proverbs 13:20 – Walk with the wise and become wise.
1 Corinthians 15:33 – “Bad company corrupts good character.”
John 15:15 – Jesus calls His disciples friends.
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
Consider Jonathan and David. Jonathan’s wisdom in aligning with David preserved Israel’s destiny. On the other hand, Samson’s lack of wisdom in relationships with Delilah led to his downfall. The Spirit of Wisdom helps you recognize covenant relationships, avoid destructive ones, and handle all with love. Wisdom in relationships preserves destiny and multiplies blessing. Stay Refreshed!
✨ Note This:
🔥 Who you walk with determines how far you’ll go.
🛡️ Responsibility:
✅ Evaluate your circle today. Ask the Holy Spirit: “Which relationships should I invest in, and which ones should I release?”
🙏 Prayer:
Lord, grant me wisdom in all my relationships. Help me honor the right people, guard my heart from the wrong ones, and walk in love with all. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
🔥 Prophetic Declaration:
I walk with wisdom in my relationships! I attract covenant connections, avoid destructive influences, and build my life with people aligned to my destiny. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
