The Spirit of Might (1)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Sunday, 5 October 2025
Topic: The Spirit of Might (1)
Focus: The Source of Supernatural Strength
🔥 Message:
The Spirit of Might empowers believers to do what human strength cannot accomplish. It is the power of God at work within you—enabling you to overcome weakness, conquer fear, and fulfill divine purpose. Isaiah 11:2 says: “The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him—the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might…”
Beloved, when the Spirit of Might rests upon you, ordinary limitations are broken. Samson tore down the gates of a city, David slew a giant, and Jesus, filled with the Spirit, healed the sick and raised the dead. This same Spirit dwells in every believer today, giving strength for obedience, endurance in trials, and power for victorious living. So, over the next seven days, this devotional will awaken you to the divine strength that flows from the Spirit of Might—so you can rise above weariness and walk boldly in God’s power.
📖 Key Verse:
Zechariah 4:6 (NIV): “‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.”
Devotional:
True strength is not found in muscles, ambition, or willpower—it is found in the Spirit of God. The Spirit of Might empowers you to rise above natural limitations and accomplish what only God can do through you. Ephesians 6:10 declares: “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” The strength of man runs out; the strength of God renews endlessly. Samson’s power was not in his hair—it was in the Spirit that came upon him (Judges 14:6). David faced Goliath not because he was fearless, but because the Spirit of Might gave him courage beyond himself.
📖 Scripture Reading:
Ephesians 6:10 – Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.
Judges 14:6 – The Spirit of the Lord came upon Samson in power.
Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
Beloved, this same Spirit dwells in every believer through Christ. He strengthens you when you’re weak, gives courage when you feel afraid, and empowers you when your strength is gone. So, when you depend on Him daily, you’ll discover that the impossible becomes possible—not because of your might, but because His might is working in you. You were never meant to live by your strength but by His Spirit. Stay Refreshed!
✨ Note This:
🔥 Human strength fails; divine strength prevails.
