Focus: The Counsel That Brings Peace

Life is full of decisions—some small, others destiny-defining. Human reasoning can only take you so far, but the Spirit of Counsel provides divine guidance that never fails. Counsel is more than advice; it is Heaven’s direction, given by the Spirit, that leads you into the path of God’s will. Psalm 16:7 declares: “I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel; my heart also instructs me in the night seasons.”
The Spirit of Counsel does not just answer questions—it aligns your heart with God’s wisdom, provides clarity in confusion, and gives peace in direction. He teaches you how to walk, when to wait, and where to go. This devotional series will help you learn how to recognize, receive, and walk in the counsel of God, so that your life decisions align with Heaven’s design.

Devotional:
One of the clearest signs of God’s counsel is peace. While human advice may stir anxiety or pressure, the counsel of the Spirit settles the heart, even when the path ahead looks uncertain. Isaiah 55:12 says: “You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.” When God counseled Gideon to face the Midianites with only 300 men, it didn’t make sense logically, but it brought peace because it was God’s word (Judges 7:7).
