THE SECRETS TO ACCESSING THE HEART OF GOD (1)

As Christians, we want to prevail in spiritual battles. We want power in our prayers, and when we pray, we want to see results. We have dreams, aspirations, and desires we want to see fulfilled. But the reality is, we can’t get hold of all these until we begin to access the heart of God. When a man has access to the heart of God, he would have answers to everything at his disposal. So, here in this series, we shall be looking at the secrets to accessing the heart of God.
SCRIPTURE: Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7 NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: One of the secrets to accessing the heart of God and gaining a closer relationship with Him is by “submitting to God”. When we submit to God, we don’t only have access to the heart of God, but we also hear and understood what He is saying to us, and who He wants us to be. Submitting to God means surrendering all of you and everything you have to God. Recognizing that He is your God, your personal Lord and Savior. You acknowledge that you can’t do anything without Him in your life (John 15:5) and commit your faith in His Word and Promises. And you have done all this, you’re edging closer to accessing the heart of God. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: When a man has access to the heart of God, he would have answers to everything at his disposal. And one of the ways to achieve that is by submitting to God.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, why not make resolute efforts to submit to God in totality.
PRAYER: O LORD, I submit my life and everything I have to You today, please grant me access to your heart, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: May the Lord grant you access to His heart and give you peace, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
