So, beloved, one other way by which prayer facilitates the process of discerning one’s mandate is via confirmation and affirmation. Prayer provides a platform for us to bring our thoughts and plans before God. As we seek confirmation and affirmation in prayer, God may respond through a deep sense of peace, which can serve as indicator that we’re on the right path.
SCRIPTURE: “Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” – Proverbs 16:3 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Again, prayer teaches patience in the process. Discerning a mandate is often a process that unfolds over time. Through consistent prayer, we can develop patience and trust in God’s timing. Waiting on God in prayer allows for personal growth, preparation, and alignment with His divine plan. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Prayer is a relational tool that helps you build a deeper connection with God. As the relationship strengthens, you become more attuned to God’s voice and leading.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, we must seek to grow intimacy with God through prayer.
PRAYER: O LORD, give us the grace to grow intimacy with You through prayer, and inform our purpose and mandate in life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As we continue to tarry at the place of prayer, may our purpose and mandate in life be guided and informed by God, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
