Focus: The Secret Place as a Refuge
🔥 Message:
The secret place is where the deepest intimacy with God is birthed. It is not found in the noise of the crowd, nor in the applause of men, but in the quiet corners where your heart meets His. In the secret place, roots grow deep, oil flows fresh, and strength is renewed. Jesus taught us that prayer is not a performance for others, but a personal encounter with the Father (Matthew 6:6). The secret place is not about location but posture—it is the hidden life of communion where Heaven pours oil into vessels that wait. This oil sustains you when the storms rage, empowers you when battles come, and prepares you for the Bridegroom’s arrival.
This series journey will take us back to the hidden place of prayer, teaching us to draw fresh oil for every season of life.

Matthew 6:6 (NIV) — “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”
Devotional:
The secret place is not just where oil flows—it is also a refuge, a safe shelter from the storms of life. Psalm 91 begins with this promise: “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” —Psalm 91:1 The enemy may rage, battles may intensify, but the one who abides in the secret place is hidden under God’s wings. Intimacy with Him becomes your shield. Fear loses its grip because His presence surrounds you like a fortress.

David understood this when he declared: “For in the day of trouble He will keep me safe in His dwelling; He will hide me in the shelter of His sacred tent and set me high upon a rock” (Psalm 27:5). In the secret place, God doesn’t always remove the storm—but He gives you peace, perspective, and protection in the midst of it. The oil of intimacy becomes the oil of preservation. So, beloved, the secret place is your refuge; stay hidden under His wings. Stay Refreshed!
