Focus: Lamps Are Not Enough
🔥 Message:
In the parable of the ten virgins, all had lamps—but only five had extra oil. When the cry rang out, “The Bridegroom is coming!”, it wasn’t enough to just look ready. The wise were those who had cultivated a lifestyle of intimacy, preparation, and extra devotion.
This series is a call to live like the wise virgins. To go beyond surface-level faith and carry the secret oil of deep communion with Jesus.

Devotional:
All ten virgins in Jesus’ parable had lamps. From the outside, they looked the same—prepared, positioned, and expectant. But when the Bridegroom delayed, the difference became painfully clear: only five had oil in reserve. This parable is not about salvation—it’s about preparedness through intimacy. Lamps represent our visible faith—our church attendance, our titles, our outward glow. But oil represents what’s hidden—the time we’ve spent with Jesus in the secret place. The relationship. The history. The intimacy.

The foolish virgins weren’t wicked—they were unprepared. They had enough for the moment but not for the delay. In this hour, God is calling His people to more than public appearance—He’s calling us to private devotion. So, beloved, don’t settle for a lamp with no oil. Go beyond the surface. Cultivate the flame of intimacy that will sustain you through any season. The lamp may make you look ready—but only the oil keeps you burning.

Public light means nothing if there is no private oil.
🛡️ Responsibility:
✅ Take inventory of your spiritual life today. Are you living on leftover oil? Set aside 15 minutes to reconnect with God in the secret place—no agenda, just hunger.
🙏 Prayer:
Lord, I don’t want to just look ready—I want to be ready. Fill me with fresh oil. Draw me back to the secret place where intimacy burns. Teach me to value private devotion over public display. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
🔥 Prophetic Declaration:
I am not running on empty! I am filled with fresh oil—oil of intimacy, oil of devotion, oil that endures. My lamp is burning, and I am ready for the Bridegroom! Alleluia!
