THE LORD WILL FIX YOU (3)

TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org

DATE: WEDNESDAY, 27 SEPTEMBER 2023

So, beloved, the subject— “The Lord will fix you” is not just a prayer, it’s the Lord’s promise. The promise goes beyond just mending our brokenness. He offers freedom from the chains that bind us, release from the darkness that surrounds us. God’s desire is not only to fix us but to heal us and transform us into a new creation.

Bottom of FormSCRIPTURE: “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.” — Isaiah 61:1 (NIV)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, here are the steps to finding healing in the Lord. We must first acknowledge our brokenness. We must be honest with ourselves and with God about our pain and struggles. And surrender them to God. Trust in His ability to heal, mend, and restore us. We must let go of the need to fix ourselves and allow God to work in your lives. And finally, we need to engage in proclaiming God’s good news. Just as Isaiah was anointed to proclaim good news, we are called to share the message of hope and healing with others. By helping others find healing, we also find healing ourselves. Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: God’s desire is not only to fix us but to heal us and transform us into a new creation.

RESPONSIBILITY: Go to God in prayer and ask Him to heal you and fix you.

PRAYER:  O God, I come before you with my brokenness, trusting in your promise to heal and restore. Help me to surrender my pain and struggles to you and to find hope in your presence. And use me as a vessel of your healing grace to bless others who are broken as well, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!

PROPHETIC WORD: As you become a vessel of healing to others, by the grace of God, may the Lord heal you and fix you, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!

BIBLE TEXTS: Isaiah 61:1
