There is a way we ought to pray if we sincerely want to see the impossible happen and experience the move of God in our life. Unthinkable things don’t just happen until we begin to pray for the unthinkable.
SCRIPTURE: Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says the LORD, ‘just what you have spoken in My hearing I will most certainly do to you; (Numbers 14:28) AMP
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, praying for the unthinkable is such a great prayer principle. All through the Scripture we see this principle play out. Elijah prayed fervently that it wouldn’t rain. For three and half years there was no rain (1 Kings 17:1). In Joshua 10:13, Joshua prayed for the unthinkable, he commanded the sun to stand still over Gibeon and the moon to stop over the valley of Aijalon, and God heard him. So, the sun stood still and the moon stopped until the Israelites took vengeance upon her enemies.
Elijah and Joshua were men like you and I, but the common denominator is they prayed for the unthinkable. You too can pray for the unthinkable, for the impossible, and it will come to pass. Praying for the unthinkable is demonstrating unmatchable faith over what we ask of God. God meets us at the level of our faith. It takes unparalleled and matchless faith to pray for the unthinkable. Faith is what moves God and makes Him do the impossible, the unthinkable. Stay Lifted!
