Beloved, how serious are you about wanting a change in your life? A lot of us want our lives to change… but we’re not willing to do our part. So, if you really want things to change in your life—and experience the fullness of the life Jesus died to give you… here are some things that you need to do. The first key to change in your life is “get to know more of God”. The apostle Peter understood this key and he wrote to the church and exhorts them thus,
SCRIPTURE: Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ… (2 Peter 3:17-18 NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: The knowledge of God is the basic to the Christian’s growth and spiritual maturity. It’s said that the more of God a person knows the more his life changes for good, and the farther he goes with God that far he would go both in life and destiny. It’s true. God is Supreme, from Him and through Him and to Him are all things (Rom 11:36). And through His divine power He has given us everything we need for life, and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence (2 Pt 1:3). Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: The more of God a person knows the more his life changes for good, and the farther he goes with God that far he would go both in life and destiny.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, beloved, let your earnest desire and song be, “God, I want to know you more and more….”
PRAYER: O LORD, I want to know you more. Cause me not to rest until I know you more and more, in Jesus’ name, Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: As you know more of God, may your life begin to change for good, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
