THE GAINS OF SERVING GOD

Nothing could be so rewarding to a man in life than his sincere service to God. Yes, this is true. It’s the most gainful, yet gratifying thing to do. Throughout the history of men God has been so faithful to those who in all truthfulness serve and honor Him. Any wonder the Bible encourages us in Exodus 23:25, and it says,
SCRIPTURE: So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take away sickness from among you. (Exodus 23:25 BSB)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: The truth is, service to God guarantees to us an access and a place in eternity and provokes God’s honor upon our lives (Jn 12:26). However, beloved, note this, when we talk about service in the kingdom, we don’t mean men pleasers and eye service (1 Thess 2:4). Nor serving God because of what you will get from Him. But rather we mean offering a genuine and selfless service to the kingdom, cutting across people, age, and time. Serving them wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: No service rendered to God and humanity is in vain, for the Lord will reward each of us for whatever good we do (Eph 6:8).
RESPONSIBILITY: So, avoid serving God only while being watched, but sincerely serve God at all times.
PRAYER: O LORD, give met the grace for service in Your kingdom, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: As you serve God, may He bless your food and water, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
