THE GAINS OF SERVING GOD (2)

The gains of serving God are as abundant as they are so wonderful. We all want to be like Jesus, we always pray to have more of Him in our lives, but one sure way we can actually achieve that is through service in the kingdom. When we are engaged in serving God, we have the rare privilege of being more like Jesus (1 Jn 2:6). So, the Psalmist declared,

SCRIPTURE: My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “Lord, I am coming.” (Psalm 27:8 NLT)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Serving God is absolutely the best way to live on earth and gains most of eternity. We have deeper and newer understanding of and experience with God. Again, aside having power to discover purpose and fulfilling it, we are also graced with the pleasure to advance the kingdom of God. We experience first hand divine protection and preservation, lasting progress and fulfilment and with the sure hope of spending eternity with God in heaven. So, beloved, what else shall you ask of God, if not to join the bandwagon of serving Him. Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: Serving God is absolutely the best way to live on earth and gains most of eternity.

RESPONSIBILITY: So, deliberately engage in service to God and His kingdom.

PRAYER: O LORD, give met the grace for service in Your kingdom, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)

PROPHETIC WORD: As you serve God, may He manifest and establish you, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
