Devotional:
Doubt doesn’t always shout—it often whispers. It creeps in quietly during long waits, difficult seasons, or unanswered prayers. Even strong believers face moments where faith feels weak and questions feel loud. John the Baptist, the forerunner of Christ, once boldly declared: “Behold, the Lamb of God!” Yet later, in prison, shaken by circumstances, he sent messengers asking: “Are You the One…?” (Matthew 11:3)
Doubt does not mean you’ve lost your faith—it means your faith is being tested.
When life shakes, doubt tries to pull you under:
- “Is God really with me?”
- “Will this ever get better?”
- “Did I hear God right?”
- “What if I fail?”
- “Why is this taking so long?”
But even when doubt rises, Christ remains steady.

God reminds you: His Word is still true, His plan is still intact, His presence is still near, His promises are still yes and amen. Doubt may knock, but it doesn’t have to settle.
