STAYING COMMITTED TO YOUR MISSION (3)
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: THURSDAY, 16 NOVEMBER 2023
TOPIC: LIVING A LIFE OF PURPOSE: A SOURCE OF SPIRITUAL FULFILLMENT
Committed people are often those who understand the power of consistency. Like a flowing river that carves its path through the mountains over time, commitment shapes our journey through the constancy of our efforts. In the face of setbacks and delays, it is the commitment to our daily progress that paves the way for eventual success. Yes, it’s true, and the Bible says,
SCRIPTURE: “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, beloved, our commitment to the mission is not defined by grand gestures alone but is equally manifested in the small, consistent steps we take each day. It’s the discipline of showing up, the dedication to the process, and the resilience to continue when the road is tough. In this commitment, we discover the transformative power of perseverance, turning obstacles into stepping stones toward our ultimate goal. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Commitment is the discipline of showing up, the dedication to the process, and the resilience to continue when the road is tough.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, beloved, let’s ask God for the grace to remain committed to our purpose and mission on earth.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, grant us the strength to be consistent in our commitment. Help us to understand that it’s not always about the leaps but often about the daily steps taken in faith, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As we stay committed to our purpose, may our commitment be a testimony to God’s enduring love and faithfulness in our lives, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: Galatians 6:9
