Every believer has giants—fear, doubt, insecurity, delay, rejection, spiritual warfare, and demonic resistance. But you were never meant to run from them. You were called to slay them. Like David, you may look small in the natural, but you carry spiritual authority far greater than what you face. This devotional series will awaken the warrior inside you. Devotional:
There are some giants you can’t defeat by effort or strategy alone—you need the anointing. The anointing is God’s power resting on your life to do what you could never do by yourself. It’s the supernatural enabling of the Holy Spirit that breaks strongholds, heals wounds, and sets captives free. David wasn’t just a skillful warrior; he was anointed. The oil poured on him by Samuel in 1 Samuel 16 wasn’t just symbolic—it marked him for divine empowerment. So when he stood before Goliath, it wasn’t just a shepherd boy with a sling. It was a giant-slayer clothed with heaven’s authority.

Isaiah 10:27 declares, “The yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” Addiction is a yoke. Depression is a yoke. Fear is a yoke. The anointing breaks them all.
You don’t have to be the strongest—you just have to be anointed. So, beloved, don’t fight battles in your strength. Ask God to anoint you afresh. Your Goliath is no match for the power of the Holy Spirit. Stay Refreshed!
